Aloha! On October 7, 2010, my husband Doug Adams and I (Deb Lewis) and our little dog Daisy embarked on our year-long Duty, Honor, America Tour. It became an 18,067 mile journey for Doug and his bike, and 26,000 miles for me, Daisy and our RV “Simba.”
In this Photo Highlights Video, Doug cycled only 28 miles as we stayed busy from 23-30 Oct 2010 to take care of the final work for our RV and Car Wrap, activities related to the Association of US Army’s (AUSA) Annual Meeting in DC, and to attend our West Point Class Reunion in NY. We may have taken a planned break from cycling, but it was not a time to rest! It was a wonderful, exhausting week that set us up with great connections who supported us many times during the rest of the Tour. How did I hang in there for all 52 weeks? This podcast explains a lot. Click on the Photo to listen.
