For 2020, we seek your support to celebrate our veterans and honor all forms of service throughout our island this Veterans Day week.

Understandably, we moved our parade to a VIRTUAL platform this year. With your help, we are compiling 30 sec parade participant video submissions and will get the word out.

We will combine them into a fabulous video to play on our Facebook page and this website Saturday, November 7th, at 10:00 am - our planned parade start.

Mahalo nui to our many participants, volunteers and generous sponsors.

The Hawai‘i Island Community will be honoring our Military Veterans and all non-profits, businesses, and groups working to better our lives on Saturday, November 7th, 2020, at the 13th Annual Hawaii Island VIRTUAL Veterans Day Parade. The parade's theme, "Celebrate Service", focuses on the increased involvement of veterans and the community to serve those in need.

Normally held in downtown Hilo, the parade has grown into one of Hawaii's largest Veterans Day parades. This event can only be held with the generous financial and volunteer support of local businesses and individuals. Our committee members are all volunteers who give their time and effort to support and organize the Hawaii Island Veterans Day Parade because of its importance in recognizing our Hawaii Island veterans and their families, and working with the community to help many more.

Here's what's happening in 2020.  Let's spread the benefits to our veterans and community

all year!
